File cabinet made largely out of ancient pine boards recovered from various sources. This storage cabinet features four storage spaces: the top and the bottom are cubbies while the middle two are dedicated drawers for standard sized file folders. A combination of pinned mortise and tenon and sliding dovetail joints keep the frame of the cabinet sturdy while adding aesthetic value as well. Finished in a combination of oil stain, shellac, and traditional wax.
Drawer dividers with exposed sliding dovetail. Note old nail and screw holes from reclaimed boards.
