Merz Apothecary, a 100+ year old Chicago business, was opening a new location in the historic Palmer House in Downtwon Chicago and wanted some unique pieces of traditionally styled furniture for the new store.We worked hard to capture the energy and spirit of the family run business in each piece by custom designing and hand finishing each piece. We used a painstaking 6-step distressing technique to add unique character to painted pieces while the stained pieces were all traditionally hand finished.
